In 1989, I took a ceramics class in Pasadena and I’ve been hooked ever since.  After years of practicing as a hobby I’ve been able to make it a career - both as an educator and artist.  Since the summer of 2007 I've been teaching Ceramics at Crescenta Valley High School and thoroughly enjoying the experience.  Spring and Fall of 2013 saw me teaching Ceramics at CSU Dominguez Hills.

Look for me at the Montrose Arts and Crafts Festival.  It’s the first weekend of June @the corner of Ocean View and Honolulu.

I am so lucky to be teaching at an amazing high school with so many students that are enthusiastic, intelligent, and engaged.

There is great personal reward in the ability to make an object of interest or utility.  Sharing that knowledge with young people is quite fulfilling. I also enjoy making utilitarian work that people can use and interact with.
